This site is intentionally ugly and minimal because it’s too easy to get distracted with fancy tools, fun design, and other interesting but unproductive goals. It’s a reminder to myself that this blog is a dedicated space for writing, and nothing else. It’s a reminder that all my creativity should go into building things people use, not pretty websites that no one visits.
